Cupcakes

The popularity of cupcakes seemed to take off after Magnolia Bakery was featured in an episode of Sex and the City (see below).  My favorite cupcakes in NYC come from Baked by Melissa. The cupcakes from Baked by Melissa are mini cupcakes.  They're almost bite-sized; giving you the opportunity to try more than one (or two or three).
