Butler's 2012-13 basketball season started with an exhibition game against
Marian University last Saturday. Here are a few shots from the game:

While the first game of the season is important (even if it's only an exhibition game), the real story of this game was the return of
Todd Lickliter (see this
story about Lickliter's career).
Lickliter was a former basketball coach at Butler. And Lickliter's return really was the story. See David Woods' story
here for the
Indianapolis Star. Fortunately for me, the
Star did not have a photographer at the game. As you will notice if you go back and look at the story, the Star used one of my pictures for the article.
